Elecard StreamEye Pro is a powerful software tool designed for professionals and prosumers in video compression field. The program implements advanced functionality of Elecard StreamEye Studio applications and provides sophisticated technology for comparative video quality analysis.

Elecard StreamEye Pro provides a visual representation of the encoded video features and a stream structure analysis of MPEG-1/2/4 or AVC/H.264 video elementary streams, MPEG-1 System Streams (SS), MPEG-2 Program Streams (PS) and MPEG-2 Transport Streams (TS).

Elecard StreamEye Pro is based on Elecard Media Indexing technology. The program displays frames, their size, type, time position, and order in the stream; bit rate declared in headers as well as other common video stream parameters. The indexing technology allows Elecard StreamEye Pro to provide the user with the ability to quickly navigate through a stream with frame accuracy.

Modules

Elecard StreamEye Pro includes many new modules that are synchronized to show every possible stream parameter and provide additional diagnostic information on video frames. Raw Data module retrieves uncompressed data from file and visualizes it, allowing comparative analysis of video alterations after encoding. It performs video data metric calculations, such as PSNR and EPSNR, which is capable of estimating video quality without the source stream.

Buffer Analyzer, which is used for building and visualizing a VBV chart for the current stream, and YUV Viewer (Raw Data module), previously working as stand-alone applications, are now integrated as modules within the main program, speeding up the whole process of analysis and eliminating the need for running other applications. Coefficients Info module determines encoding criteria and efficiency of selected encoding algorithms, and can be used when writing a new encoder or testing prediction algorithms.
